The plot takes place over 100 years after the manga/anime so there are no canon characters. It revolves around a unique and easy to understand stat system along with any other interesting bits you should read about.
The Plot
World Plot
War is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is, get at him as soon as you can, strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. War is a serious matter not to be entrusted in man. If you want peace, prepare for war!
First War
It's been over 100 years since the rise and fall of Akatsuki, and the shinobi of legend. Konoha, once a becon of just and benevolence, have since fallen from the ways of Uzumaki Naruto and the Hokage of past. The long running trend of absolute virtue has expelled it's last drop. Under the hierarchy of it's new leader, the land exceedingly flourished with a vast abundance of shinobi, skills, and trade. In couplings, a new system was devised. There was no country ruler and the Hokage and his closest shinobi, there was only one. One ruler and his vast legion of soldiers of "good and justice". Though he was stationed as the acting Hokage of the latest generation, he considered himself the Daimyo as well. Through his guidance, corruption, and power, he secured both titles. Ushering in a New World Order, one that would supersede that of the previous. For far too long Konoha had been the go-to village in times of crisis and in his mind, he felt that they haven't nearly been entitled to what they deserve. And what did they deserve? More land and power of course. With all their shinobi of legend and numerous deeds of sacrifice and heroism, the rest of the world owed them. With him as a stern driven leader, betrayals and peace-keeping uproars were sporadic, messy, and easily manageable. Outside the inevitable mini-protests, his plans were wheeling into motion. This rocky, but fairly stable peace that lasted for over one hundred years came to a screeching halt. Known as the Red Sand War, it was a conflict fought between Wind and Fire Country following the arrival in Sunagakure of Konoha's elite strike teams. Spoiled by the tit of peace and their long standing alliance, the sand nation and it's citizens were caught off guard; it's village completely destroyed and survivors forced to flee to Earth Country's Iwagakure. Konoha war-hounds in hot pursuit. The true timeline of the Red Sand and the soon occurring Second War are blurred somewhat. The initial follow-up invasion to Earth Country was crushed completely by the swiftly forged alliance between Wind and Earth. When the crush happened, Konoha withdrew for the moment, occupying Wind Country lands and re-bolstering their forces. It was during this time that the First War ended, and when Konoha invaded for a second time three years later, the Second War began.
Second War
Following the between events of the first war, the standing Hokage had managed to convince the Raikage that Wind and Earth were planning a mass take over of all the nations and their immediate assistance was required. Exercising Konoha's long standing benevolent, pure, and Will of Fire ways, it was an easy sway of allegiance. The survivors of the Red Sand War of Sunagakure had multiplied over the short years with the beseeched aid from the Tsuchikage. In the years between the defeat of Sunagakure and the outbreak of a Second War, both factions went through massive reformations and began huge military build-ups in preparation for war. The day finally came. A titanic duel between both powers that lasted for days in what has been described as the bloodiest battle of both wars. However, with the now readied forces of Wind and the campaigning through advantageous territory, the earth manipulating forces were just too much for Lightning and Fire to handle. This came with their defeat and the reclaiming of Sunagakure and Wind Country by it's rightful citizens. But this wasn't without disastrous losses. The legions of Earth Country suffered a terrible blow in it's ranks as it pulled most of the weight in the Second War. Their defenses are now scarce and it's land under pressure from the looming threat of attacks on it's boarders. But this isn't to say that there aren't losses on the other side of the spectrum. The conquest joint Raikage, the supporting force of the Second War, had been assassinated, leaving his people to wander without a leader. This eventually lead to slanderous utterings, a leak in the law, and numerous attempts to besiege the throne. Ragged and broken, the remaining forces of Fire Country scurried back into their dark nest egg. Inner conflict emerged once more since wars end. On top of rebuilding their forces, the military structure now must deal with the uprising of rebel and peace forces within it's walls. During all this bloodshed, there was one country who stayed out of it. Water Country. Despite their long list reputation for brutality, they chose not to align themselves with either faction and all attempts on both sides fell on deaf ears. This was largely due to their involvement with western powers. Being surrounded by sea, they are the most advanced when it came to sea travel and related fields. Since the initial gossip and sightings of war, they decided to secure their own power by trading with the west. With it they had gathered new materials, weapons, and knowledge. Utilizing these newly founded things, they had fortified Kirigakure and all her neighboring islands as they suspected that their lack of war involvement has caused ill feelings between the other shinobi nations.
Current Day
Ten years have passed with the Second Wars end and as it stands, things are still chaotic. The flames of war still burn strongly in the hearts of warriors; constantly fighting in order to survive, in order to conquer. The latest topic of interest between all countries is the arrival of the Tailed Beasts. No one knows who or what caused their appearance but one after another they showed up. The enormous power they wield and the destruction they cause is like none other. It's a power that the five great leaders seek to control and it is such power that threatens to destroy the alliances that have been created and the world as we know it. With the new pieces on the board, a question is raised..
Who will come out on top?
